Campbellton RV Park 🌲🌲🌲🌲🌲
Campbellton, New Brunswick, Canada
This park is awesome. It is located just over the border in New Brunswick. Most of the lots are level and all are well maintained. It is also very quiet since it's an older crowd due to no pool or playground. We have a wonderful view of the mountains, a river, and a huge bridge. There always seems to be a cool breeze blowing and birds singing. It is also within walking distance of the city center and a nice park. Finally, the internet has been great!
Camping Du Quai
My overall opinion of this small park is that it's just okay. I was not expecting the park to be on a busy road that leads to the ferry. So that traffic, at times, was heavy. A lot of motorcycle traffic. Our site was very tight and the park stayed full. When a motor home was parked beside us, we were afraid that their awning was going to touch our 5th wheel. Well, it missed by 4 inches! Lots of kids running around unattended. However, it was in a good location to do some sight-seeing and the folks in the office were very nice. Internet was pretty much non-existent.

Maplewood Acres RV Park
Bainsville, Ontario, Canada
When we got off the exit for the park we realized we were in nowheresville!! This is a park that is located in rural farm country! I had hoped it was close to Montreal and Ottawa but that wasn't the case. The park itself is very woody and the pull-through sites are huge. The owner was constantly working on the park and riding around in farm equipment of some sort. The downside is that the lots are all facing the west so you get the evening sun which prevents one from sitting out in the early evening. I don't know if we were there during a strange bug season, but the bugs were insane and aggressive. The mosquitoes had fangs! They did have a pool and weekend activities but they never told us about them. Hum! There are also a lot of seasonal campers. Internet/wifi was great but you get kicked off every 2 hrs on the dot, which I understand is to keep people from streaming Netflix, etc.
Niagara Falls North KOA
Lewiston, NY
This park was very convenient to visit the falls but it's also a typical KOA Journey. The sites are very close and Dennis had a hard time making a couple of turns to get to our site. He even had to wake some dude up to ask him to move his truck so we could get by. The site was level and wooded. The bugs were many but the water pressure was to die for! I would stay there again just for that! Since we had the cell-router, we didn't bother with the park's wifi at this location.
Jackson, Michigan
This park is huge!!! It has over 1100 sites. It is also the oddest one we have stayed in. I would guess that 75% of the park are seasonal. So we were surrounded by seasonal campers (and I do mean lots of them) that would show up every weekend and party the whole time. So lots of folks riding around on golf carts, drinking, playing corn hole and riding bikes. Our pull-through site was huge and level but the water was undrinkable even with a filter on it. It was an orange rusty color. It even stained my tub! We did not bother with the park's wifi.
