June 20 - July 18, 2021

Grayville, IL

We have stayed at this park before.  However, in the two years since, it has become a KOA.  Definitely a park for convenience mostly since it is right at interstate.

5th wheel issues

Penny researched the hydraulic lifts we needed.  Then she and my sister took a trip up to the home of Forest River, in Elkhart, IN to pick up the replacement jacks.  It was a lil adventure for them.

The weekend after they returned, my sister and her husband and their son-in-law came over to the RV to help me change out the jacks.  We had to hitch up to the truck so that we could take the weight off... then rolled our sleeves up and did the work.  it was a sticky job but got it done!

Gray Lady Ghost - Willard Library

Visited the Willard Library which was very cool on its own, but add in a ghost... we were THERE for that.

USS LST-325 - Ship Tour
Since we were so close while lurking for the ghost, we decided to do a tour of a WW II landing boat.  It was a pretty neat tour, but it was a very hot day.

Big Things, Little Town - Casey, IL

Another warm day.  But it was fun walking around seeing all of the fun-sized stuff.

Happy Independence Day!

and finally, the big news!
